This summer I will be one of the guest soloists for the ‘Dutch Jazz Youth Orchestra’ (NJJO)….

Other soloists include the ‘wonderful’ Reinier Bass (guitar) and the equally ‘wonderful’ Maarten Hogenhuis (alto). The orchestra consists of some of the most talented, young dutch jazzers under the age of 21. The ever dapperly dressed and energetic Benjamin Herman is our shepherd and guardian for the duration of this project.

The tour’s premiere will take place at the Bimhuis in Amsterdam, on April 21st. We will then continue to perform at festivals and venues throughout the country for the remainder of the summer. More info (in Dutch): www.njjo.nl.
